When Vita's Executive Chef Paul Bogardus and Director Kevin Knauss reviewed the local foods they saw an opportunity: the bounty of the Garden State along with access to foods from around the world were begging to be celebrated. They answered the call by renewing Vita, a New York City type restaurant in quality and style featuring the bounty of New Jersey's local, seasonal produce with neo-American preparation. From the warm welcome when you walk through our doors to the crunch of a fresh baguette to the perfectly paired wine with an exceptionally cooked meal, Vita offers the complete experience. The open heart kitchen allows dinners to see the chefs cooking their meals live at the open heart, offering yet another aspect of their meal.
